Hey Friends✨!!
It’s been really long since I have talked to you….we’re really working on a really exciting project…so I didn’t spend time writing here…it’s been long and we’d love to let you know once the project is done…I promise that you’ll be loving once it’s live…I’m really excited for that day to come.
And now talking about spending time writing….today I would love to ask if anyone’s been here who has a habit of writing their journals or if you have any interest about building that habit….If there’s anyone, share your thoughts in the comment section below.
Why Journal? More Than Just Handwriting Practice 😜
To give my take about this topic…i do often journal my life digitally and yeah it really feels better once you put your thoughts outside your mind
The Overwhelming Mind vs. The Clarity of Paper
Imagine this: you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions swirling around in your head and you’re not sure where to begin to sort through everything and make sense of it at all. This is where the power of journaling comes in.
Journaling is a simple yet powerful tool that can help you:
- Process your thoughts and emotions
- Gain clarity
- Improve your overall well being
By taking a few minutes each day to write down your thoughts and feelings you can get insight into your inner world and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. You can also identify patterns and triggers that may be contributing to your senses and stress or anxiety.
Whether you prefer to write in a traditional notebook or use any digital journaling app something like “DayOne” or I’d generally use notion to write things down…the act of putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboard can be a transformative experience…and for me honestly…I would attribute this in helping me to get my thoughts out onto the page.
From Fear to Perspective: The Magic of Writing It Down🪄✨
Here’s what I’ve discovered: when thoughts stay trapped in our minds, they become unwieldy and overwhelming. We spiral into fear, anxiety, and perfectionism. We obsess over what others think. Everything feels like life or death.
But here’s the magic – when you write down “I’m scared that my friend Jay will laugh at me if I start singing songs” something shifts. You look at those words and think, “Wait… am I really letting THIS stop me from pursuing something I love?”
Taking thoughts from your head and putting them on paper is incredibly powerful.
The Blueprint Effect: Complex Thinking Made Simple😌
Also, when you are trying to figure out something complex this is really helpful….like imagining you trying to design a blueprint of a House in your mind or trying to solve a difficult exam question on your mind…Imaginations in mind is okay to do but that would be dumb, It’s only when you keep it on a paper you soon will realise the variables in the thing you are thinking about and it’s entire equation.
AI as Your Thinking Partner🤖
So another really nice thing about this is that when you write stuff down, you can either write and chunk a picture on tools like ChatGPT or you can copy paste your entire content there…And so you can get the AI to sort of kind of respond you and stuff and get you outside from your spiral thoughts
Life Changing Questions Worth Exploring🏕️
Also through this idea we can actually to ask interesting questions like:
- What’s the job you would do for the rest of your life if money is not there in the equation?
- What would I do if I had all the money in the world?
- And so on…
We don’t think of that sorts of things on a daily basis. These types of journaling prompts. But those kind of questions thinking about it and maybe writing the answer can change the entire trajectory of our life with one simple powerful question.
So Here’s My Challenge to You…📆
If you’ve never journaled before, I dare you to try it for just 7 days. Grab whatever you have – your phone’s notes app, a random notebook, even the back of receipts – and spend 5 minutes writing down whatever’s bouncing around in your head.
And if you’re already journaling? Drop a comment and tell us about that one time journaling helped you see something differently or gave you a breakthrough moment.
I’m genuinely curious….what thoughts are you carrying around in your head right now that might need to come out on paper?
Let’s start a conversation about this. Share your journaling stories, your fears about starting, or even your favorite prompts in the comments below. Who knows? Your comment might be exactly what someone else needs to hear to start their own journaling journey.
