The Importance of Yes and No…πŸ™Œ

Hey Friends…!!

Ever had one of those days where you start-off thinking “Today…I’m going to crush it..!!” only to find out yourself halfway through the day wondering what you’ve actually done..πŸ€”?

Like you planned to get so much done, but instead you spent an hour scrolling through Instagram, 20 minutes searching for your keys, airpods or something else, and another hour stuck on a random phone call about absolutely nothing….

By the end of the day, you’re busy…but not in a productive wayπŸ₯². Trust me, I’ve been there. And honestly it’s easy to fall into this trap of just reacting to whatever the day throws at us. But here’s the thing…..“If we’re not intentional about our time, it end up controlling us instead of the other way around”

So let’s talk about how we can flip the script…πŸ’ͺ

Why Being Busy Isn’t Enough…?

I’ve been re-reading a book called “The 12 Week Year by Brain Moran”…and i’m getting new insights every time i complete a chapter which is pretty awesome….now down to the question, in that book Brain Moran explains that if’s you’re not purposeful with you’re time..it’s like leaving you’re results to some random chance. If the day is controlling you for your action then it means that you aren’t performing at your best efficiency.

The Power of Being Purposeful…!!

The key here to flip the script is to be intentional.Being intentional is about taking control of your time and aligning your actions with your priorities and goals….When we are intentional:
1.We know when to say YES and more importantly when to say NO!
2.It helps you to focus on high-value activities that move the needle instead of low-level tasks that just keep you “busy

THE PROBLEM…πŸ₯²

The problem here is that being purposeful or intentional doesn’t come naturally…It’s a habit that you need to cultivate.

So how to be More Intentional with Your Time..?
Let us discuss about a few executable actions that made a difference to me…

1. Define Your Priorities: Start asking yourself like what really matters to me..? Whether it’s achieving a career milestone, improving your health, or spending more time with your relations…get clear on what’s important.
2. Create a Plan: Use tools like a 12 week plan about which we can talk in another letter…but the idea here is to set short term achievable goals. Break these goals into into daily actions so you know exactly what you need to focus on each day..
3. Structure Your Day: Plan your day the night before. Block out time for your most important tasks and stick to it.Remember that what gets scheduled gets done…
4. Learn to Say NO: You have to remember that not every opportunity or request deserves your time….Saying no can be tough, but it’s necessary to protect your time and energy for what truly matters.

So finally i would like to say that Being intentional doesn’t mean everyday will go perfectly…Life happens…But more we practice the more we’ll notice the shift…You’ll start feeling more in control, less stressed and more “Fulfilled

“It’s not enough to be busy; so are the ants. The question is: What are we busy about?”
–Henry David Thoreau

  1. Hey.Great way of narration. Each point is crystal clear.
It is definitely important to prioritise our tasks and schedule them as what comes first.
The most important thing to do is start doing your works right now.Dont plan it for some other time.
